The Canyoning is an aquatic sport, of practices quite recent but that gains followers every day. One is to whatever descend directly by the bed a torrent from mountain the obtaculos.

RAPPELING | NATURAL RESERVE PROTECT PARROT `ALISERO`| AGUAS CHIQUITAS

Caracteristics: Reserve | natural area | Subtropical Jungle Mountain

Departure 9am from Hotel or Hostel, by national route 9 in North direction, to the Dock Gelsi Celestine (the Cadillal), to 30 minutes of the capital. We will cross a bed of the river Medina to arrive at the base of Mountain ranges Medina, logistic of equipment (helmets, Cords, harnesses, neoprenos), rations of Marches and we will be inserted in the river chiquitas waters, to begin ours canyoning. First piletones, will be applied Technical of Jumar, to promote walls, and soon we will swim other two steps, also we will use systems of pulleys and anchorages to be able to advance in the water jumps. Our route will be of 2.30hs approx of trekking and canyoning, when arriving at the cascade we rest. them return 1hs, reduction by the tube doing use of the cords and anchorages, we will apply rappelling and reduction in falls. Arrival to the vehicle, Lunch return to San Miguel de Tucumán.

This alternative has an INTERMEDIATE level of difficulty which means: a requirement that demand physical and present a moderate risk level and combining activities moderate or moderately intensive environments irregular. They are ideal for people with normal physical condition and good health.
